Winter in Japan [PART 3]

A very good afternoon, everyone! I'm back to continue our journey. I know I took time to continue as I was really busy these days. Now, I even wanted to skip this journey because I wanna share about what happened this week hahaha. Whatever it is, let's continue the third part in Japan!

On the third day, we went to Ameyoko Street around 1130 as the rest of the members were so tired after a long day in Fuji-Q yesterday. So, from Omori Station to Ueno Station it took about 30 minutes. We heard that Ameyoko Street is where we can find cheap souvenirs and it's proven! Of course, I did not buy the souvenirs yet as I might need more money in the next day. So, I decided to come again on the last with the remaining money to buy souvenirs for my family and friends. Anis and Zizie bought souvenirs for their family first. After that, we went to Hard Rock Cafe as Zizie wanted to buy shirts for her mother and sister. Hard Rock Cafe is inside the Ueno Station. And it's easy to find the place. Then, we went to Ueno Park because the scenery was so beautiful and of course pictures are a must! Before we went to Ueno Park we went to a bridge first. We could see the skyscraper buildings. Andddddd, it was so beautiful. I was so in love with the view. We were there about 30 minutes before headed to the park.

Went to Hard Rock Cafe.

Ayeeeee!

The park was so clean and quiet. The park must be very beautiful when it's spring. As we came on winter, we could not really see the flowers. But, it was okay as the view itself was already beautiful! At the park, you could see museum, music school and I did not remember. Hahaha. We were just walking and took pictures at the park. I wanted to go to museum and walk more but we did not have enough time. After that, we went back to Ameyoko Street to have lunch as we were so starving. Again, we had kebab. Hahaha. And, we got free drinks from the owner. Thank you so much, Sire! After lunch, we went to Asakusa to pray at another mosque! We walked about 30 minutes as it was a bit far from the station. Asakusa is a quiet neighborhood too but on our way there we could see Sensoji Temple if I'm not mistaken. But, we went straight to the mosque as the time was getting ended. After 20 minutes there, Bella and I went to a post office as Bella wanted to post postcards to another 2 friends of us and her sister.

Then, we went back to the mosque to get Zizie and Anis. We walked for 10 minutes and stopped a convenience mart to buy coffee. As we walked, we could see Tokyo Skytree! It was getting dark already. We were so excited and we always were! Hahaha. We took a bus to Tokyo Skytree and walked for another 2 minutes. We found a cafe there, the cafe that we wanted to pray and ate at but we did not go there as we were already full and prayed. We went to take a picture at Tokyo Skytree and enjoyed the night view for 30 minutes. Then, we went to get inside the building and I had a video call with my sister. Omg, I missed my family so much yet I did not want to leave Japan. Hahaha. After Anis bought a few things, we went back to hotel as there was nothing much to do. We reached the hotel around 2100. All of a sudden, we were hungry hahaha. So, kami makan maggie dan makanan yang banyak lagi tu. Around 2300, I went to sleep of course. Hahaha. 

 

Tokyo Skytree!

Ayeeeeee!

The next day, we woke up early but we went out around 1030 in the morning. We went to the city of Tokyo - Marunouchi. We lost again and needed to walk more hahaha. I must admit the place was kinda hard to find but we managed to find it! Before we got to find the place, we sat for a few minutes as we needed to calm ourselves and walked back hahaha. Then, we tried the kimono. We got to choose which kimono we wanted to wear. The staffs could speak in English so there was no problem at all! I chose a summer kimono and I did not even know why hahaha. The staff was so worried as I might got cold. But, it was not that cold that day, thank God! At first, they would help us in wearing the kimono. You just need to stand and open your arms hahaha. They would do everything! Then, they took a picture of us wearing the kimono. After that, you can take pictures as long as you want within the area. So, we took pictures outside the place and also with a local! Thank you, uncle for being so helpful and cute! Hahaha. We were there about an hour, I guess then we wanted to have lunch.

Find us!

Before we headed to lunch, I bough 3 postcards to post it to my friends. And on our way to station, we found the post box and Dominika is the first one that I sent the post as I already have the address hahaha. I took the idea from Bella to post the postcards hahaha. I think it's a very good idea to post a postcards 😁 Then, we went to Roppongi to have lunch but the restaurants were closed as the time we went there it was already lunch time and they closed the restaurants. Then, we went to an Egypt restaurant and luckily it was not close. The restaurant was a bit expensive and I spent almost ¥2,000 😭 the food was not that good but I should be thankful hahaha. After lunch, we went to pray at a quiet place as we could not find a mosque or prayer place there. It was like 1630 at that time and we decided to go to Tokyo Tower. I thought we could catch the sunset but again we missed the sunset hahaha. We went there by bus and on our way to bus stand we saw a few man rode go-karts. I wish I could ride that, too hahaha.

We were almost there!

We reached at Tokyo Tower around 1730 and bought tickets to get to the highest floor as we could see the whole city and Mt. Fuji. But, my battery phone died and I could not do anything expect enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I bought some souvenirs there. After 2 hours there, we went to have dinner at Asakusa. Anis wanted to eat Sushi but the  restaurant again was closed as someone already reserved the whole restaurant. Then, we went to have dinner at Asakusa too but I could not remember the place. They served yummy food and we were so full! It's cheap too! We ordered a bowl of rice and fried chicken hahaha. And it was only ¥1500. It was better than lunch we had earlier hahaha. Then, we went back to hotel around 2230. Then, we had shower and went to sleep as the next day was our last day in Japan. I did not want to go back and at the same time I missed my family. Hahaha. No matter what I needed to face the reality. I am sure I will come again to Japan. So, I will end the post here. Till next time, readers! Thank you for reading! 💙
